Harrisburg Superintendent Finalists School Board Selects Two Finalists On Saturday, February 18th, the school board interviewed several strong candidates and has selected two of them to move forward in the superintendent search process as finalists.  The candidates are listed below along with links to their resumes.  Link to Steven Woods Resume https://5il.co/1pnsr Steven Woods Steven is an influential educator dedicated to staff development and student improvement with extensive experience in overseeing all spheres of school operations.  In addition to his track record of successfully improving standards across several schools in the United States, he is a certified and award winning multi-sport coach. Steven is currently the superintendent of Days Creek Charter School in Oregon where he as served since 2018.      Link to Vince Swagerty Resume  https://5il.co/1pnst Vince Swagerty Vince is a strong, stable, and transparent leader with experience in budget development and management; Positive labor relationship and contract negotiations; Building community relationships and partnerships; Strong leadership during the pandemic; Improving technological infrastructure; Completion of important capital improvement projects; High level of visibility in the community.  Vince is currently the superintendent in Mitchell, Oregon where he has served since 2018.   Finalist Visitation Day  Wednesday, March 8th Both finalists will be visiting the district on Wednesday, March 8th prior to their final interview with the school board.  There will be several opportunities to provide feedback to the board regarding the candidates on this day.  Stay tuned for more details as they are developed.
